THE STORY OF GUY MILLER

My musical journey started at the age of 14. There was a band up the street in my neighborhood. I used to sit outside of the window of their rehearsal spot, and peek in to watch. One evening, the drummer noticed me out there and invited me in. The sound and energy of that band pulled me in, and I was instantly flooded with a feeling I knew I had to pursue. Watching the five of them, come together with this eclectic mix of musical influences was the moment that sparked a lifelong passion that continues to drive my music today.

I began playing guitar, and with some time and strong guidance from an older player, I began to catch on. I met another kid that played who moved into the area when I was 15. We hit it off and before we knew it we had a bunch of songs together. We formed a band, and despite being so young, began playing out at small bars and backyard parties. Pretty soon after we were on a bus and playing all over the country.

For many years to follow, in bands and all alone, I traveled back and forth across the U.S. and have played stages from coast to coast, both large and small. I've been lucky enough to share the stage with some amazing musicians, and built some enduring friendships. 

Today, I perform an acoustic act, fill in playing lead guitar with a few bands and continue to write and record new material in the studio.
